monster barbs???

soon. I bought an extra XP3 while they are on sale here, so I am beginning to put together parts for the setup.

I am looking at an AGA brand 150 gallon.

it seems to offer a good bang for the buck in terms of what you get for what you pay.

the 180 of course would be better, but there is quite a leap in price, and I want everything brand new (other than existing filters and stuff that I have)

There are some huge barbs out there, hampalas and six bandeds come to mind both get over 2' long.

Hampalas are my favorite predatory fish that I can legally own aurelis barbs get about 6 inches google barbs & you'll find actually most barbs get large.

i myself got two filament barbs which get like 6-8 inches and are absolutely stunning when bigger...im picking up 4 more sooon so i get a school of em

its hard to believe sometimes that little guys like that will grow up to be a foot and a half long

mine were that size almost three years ago now.

Hampalas are hands down one of the greediest fish I've ever owned. Make a great display with larger cichlids though
