stoped by this morning when they opened.. this weekend they had a 25% off all freshwater fish sale (usually do this 1 weekend a month or every other month), but yesterday bought some feeder danios, a few neons for my community tank, and some ghost shrimp... well they forgot to give me my 25% off, so I got in store credit. and got them to unhide the big fella.. once employees hand got near it, it nearly leaped out of the tank and soaked the worker.... I'd say he's a good 13-15" and I was incorrect they only wanted 12.95.. so I put him on hold, and will pick up tomorrow morning. and wil ltry to remember to take some pictures and post.. for the 4-8" specimens they get shipped to them they still want 14.95!!! what a steal this is.. looks in good shape except his right side small fin looks like it had a hole in the middle that has mostly healed over.. for awhile a clown knife was housed with it at the shop, that was just as big....
lets just hope he can handle being in a 29 heavily filtered tank for a few months.....

get it. here they sell them at 3-5" for $20-30+ dollars

purchased, and already exploring his new temporary 30gallon... ~13"
Have pics will post after I get home from work tonight..

here are a few, got a few more once in the tank, but need to resize them...

really nice get me 2 lol whats the petstore called? did they have any left? what town looks great get him a bigger tank asap tho

$12.89 was all I paid....
they want 14.95 for 3-8" specimans. this guy is almost 13"
SAILFIN in champaign Illinois.
cheaper cause it was a trade in (so only one) and he has some splits in his fins.. but for awhile they were keeping him with a even larger clown knife, and who knows what and how the previous owner had and treated them..
I know he needs bigger. but can't afford the new tank for at least 1-2months, and unless I dump him in with my other BGK a few inches smaller, in an already crowded 75, thats the best I can do...
In the meantime I cleared most of the decorations out, and running good filtration:
1 top fin 10gal hob
1 penguin 330B with additional media baskets (1 1/2denitrate 1/2 carbon, 1 fluval peat)
and of course a nice big air pump and large wand

put the little one in the 30 and the big one in the 75

maybe its just me...but I thought about that...
but my other one, is used to his surroundings already in the 75, and gets along with all the small inhabitants. cory's and the like. and the the difference in size is only about 1-2" at most....
I just need to win the lotto!
