sweet. gotta love them chompers. here is a few pics of a trip to ibsp where we nailed the gators non-stop one morning. i had the biggest at 18 lbs on the boga. They are great to eat as long as you know how to do it right.
Wow big O What a catch you had! ( wouldn't hurt to let a few go ) The fish we catch in NY Harbor move all over real fast, I tag alot of fish, and those caught here today might be in south Jersey next week. Yes they are safe to eat from NY Harbor. The tides are so strong that the water is flushed clean twice a day. Water has a muddy look to it from the silt not pollution!
That was a crazy morning, they were chasing bunker right up on the beach. that was what we kept between 4 guys, and TONS more were released. That particular blitz lasted hours. Most of them had a few pounds of bunker in their bellies.
