oh well if your really going to give it back to the shop keeper ask him to right a agreement note so that even he's denieing it show him the note.. but i still dont recommend it.

if only they could shrink the RTC to max at 1foot or 2foot. instead off 3-5ft..

Welcome to MFK!!!

Neither is a species to be recommended for a 90. A TSN will definitely grow more slowly. Why not look for a lima or spotted? Google; Sorubim lima and Hemisorubim platyrhynchus.

BTW, when the time comes to trade in a large cat, don't be surprised if the offer is retracted or forgotten. Happens all the time.

I agree with everything...

both have no business in a 90gal, also all LFS that carry those fish use that line "when it out grows your tank we will buy it back" because they dont expect it to live after all you are trying to buy a fish that wont work in your tank and when do you show up there they will say "sorry we dont have room for it" or "that was never said we cant make deals like that"

so I would recommend looking for different fish.

What do you think about a 24" Red-tailed cat and a 20" Paroon shark in a 375gl tank? Currently there are two - 22" Gars alone in the tank. Any compatibility issues? The tank footprint is 5'L x 4'H x 3'D. Give me your thoughts.

In a year or two, there will be an upgrade from the 375gl to something much larger, but for now, I believe 1 RTC & 1 TSN could be a nice blend as they are hearty fish that can hold there own. I am hesitant on the Paroon shark tho, as its a VERY VERY active swimmer, and not as laid-back a the current tankmates:nilly:. Although I know it will be quick enough to get away if there were an altercation.

again...Compatibility?
Your thoughts are welcome :):welcome:
