hmm haven't been on here much now but has anyone posted up recent pics of the Bargarius Yarrelli Aka Goonch Catfish?
 
Here is an update of my rtc x tsn ....growing like a hog! Free to a large tank or pond....pick up in Tahoe only.

Beautiful fish. Wish I could. So if you're in Tahoe, is it possible to keep a pond there? I imagine your pond would be solid ice by now.
 
MY IRRID SHARKS ARE GETTING BIGGER AND BIGGER... I TRIED TO DONATE IT TO A LOCAL PETSHOP BUT WOULD'NT ACCEPT IT..WHAT SHALL I DO WITH THEM?I DONT MEAN TO BE IRRESPONSIBLE BUT THEY JUST KEEP GETTING BIGGER IN MY 80G TANK LIKE SAEDINES IN A CAN.
 
i have 3 irridescent sharks all 13 yrs old....relatively small @ 15" probably because they were housed in a 30 gallon tank all their lives....just upgraded to an 80G tank...I think they will still grow, but my next concern would be where to place them after they outgrow my 80G tank??!!

3 at 15" in an 80 gallon?! they already outgrew it. they were housed 13 years in a 30 gallon? its a wonder they arent dead. im sure they are terribly stunted.
