Monster Catfish!

View attachment 723823 Anyone have any idea what this cat is? Got him today. He is about nine inches long, with a completely flat head. almost looks like a baby shark from above. He was listed as a whale cat, and told that hes from Peru, but no one could figure out what he is. here's a photo from above. While he was acclimating we put minnows into his bag and he ate several. wondering what he is, if anyone has any ideas, I would really appreciate it!! thanks

It is an Ageneiosus marmoratus, great lookin cat

Well the big girl is now in her 22nd year in my tanks. She was purchased at Big Al's Aquarium Services at the original store on Dundas St in Mississauga, Ontario on January 3 1991 for $50.00 and she was 11 to 12" (28-30cm long)

She has not grown much over the past few years. The mouth at the top of the first picture is of my six foot Arapaima.

Here is another pic taken by ACA cichlid guru Rusty Wessel in 2011.

That is the front half of a 13" mackerel she is about to eat. Love her eye colour in this shot.
