I've been out doing a lot of river fishing this summer. Thanks to many of your responses, tips and tricks, I've been doing quite well. I tried a stretch of river today that I've never been to. It's much wider than my other spot and quite a bit deeper. Its right in front of some pillars that are holding up an old rail road. I think some of these guys were holding right behind the big pillars just chillin out. Anyway, my personal best Channels.

A local kid helped me land this guy, and offered to take a pic with my cell.

This one I caught and no one was around to help me. It was hard getting him in by myself without a net.

Thanks guys. I wear these clothes fishing because my wife gets mad if I wear my nice jeans out fishing and they get slimy because I usually wipe my hands on them, lol.
