watch your feet eh what kind of pump do you have for the suction on that thing

No pump needed. Gravity feed. That tank is 14 feet deep. I run the hose up over the guard rail, and then down 1 story to a floor drain on the next level in a holding area. That gives me all the suction I need. It's got that nice little ball valve on the top to control flow, but I usually run it wide open.

That's insane!

But I'd be more afraid of what was lurking behind me waiting for it's perfect opportunity to make me into a tasty snack....

What kind of inhabitants are you cleaning up after in there?

There's roughly 700-800 Amazon fish in there ranging in size from cichlids the size of my thumb nail all the way up to 50 lb pacu and a juvie arapaima that is a touch over 4 1/2 feet right now. There's a thread here in here somewhere about it......

Monsterized Gravel Vac, with ball valve, and snorkling while vacuuming the gravel......PRICELESS
