Hmmm...I dunno...those pics look a little "off" somehow... :ROFL:

qldmick qldmick , I love your shots of those monster crays. I really wish I had the chance to see Australia in person someday. And...Cherax destructor has got to be tied with Ursus horribilis for the title of "coolest scientific name ever!" :)

Very cool mate. My grand parents had a house on the purlingbrook creek in Springbrook, the hinterland behind the Goldie. We used to catch laminating spiny crays there for fun when I was a kid.
My brother used to fish for Aussie lungfish in SE Qld in the early 80’s. I think Somerset was one of the lakes he fished. Apparently they go like the clappers.
I live in the US now. Thanks for the nostalgia trip down memory lane 🤩
