monster crayfish

It may be a Astacopsis gouldi. If so they are on the endangered species list..

They take around 7 years to mature and they carry their young on their tail for one year.

I will work on uploading some of my personal pics for you all to see BUT until then you can go to my profile and check out my web site for some pictures of some that are 12inches and over.
I even have the Cherax Park Blues or the "Opals" as I like to call them. The are genetically stable and missing the red and green gene common in Redclaw and they look like an opal and are sometimes so white you can see internal organs after a molt.
