Monster dream tank-750!!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks everyone. I still can't believe it's sitting in my garage right now. To answer some questions- I am currently on the drawing board with my dad on building my own stand. Probably out of 4x4's and 3/4 to 1" plywood sheeting. It has two overflows built in the tank so I will be using a monster wet dry system- 130-180 gallon with twin pumps. For fish, lets see. I am planning on putting some of my current stock when they get bigger. I have an Arapaima around 8" that will soon need to go into it, nile perch, chinese perch, barramundi, some gars, of course I have to put some monster datnoids in there too, and my Tigrinus cat and maybe some other bottom dwellers.

u need arowana.

wow very jealous, need one of those soon, cant wait to see it all done. good luck with it

SSSSSSSWWWWWW EEEEEETTTTTTTTT !!!!!!

Great pickup bro! damn your pima, and other monsters would love that new home for them :lol2: would you be adopting some big bass'ssssss soon ? :naughty: HEHEHEHEHE

Damn bro...that is a sweet tank!!!

omg thats a sweet tank cant wait to see it set up

That's what I call a TANK =-) ..... my suggestion would be go big w/filteration. You have a pimp as tank and you a want a Pimp as filteration also. I would go double the suggested GPH. e.g... in my tank I have two Dolphin Amp Master 3000 Pumps. One is connected to my ULTIMA II Pond Filter (for my biological) and an Aqua U.V Sterilizer. The other is straight up free flow. This eliminates the use of power heads inside the tank. This is solely dedicated to move the water around. This is also eliminates the unwanted cord and un-necessary space a powerhead will take up. I added my aqua U.V for parasite reasons not for ALGEA. I've never had an algea problem in my tank and my tank is faced in front of a window. I believe it's because of good current.

I would also just use a berlin style sump w/sock filter for the mechanical. Easy maintenance and the socks are washable. Pick up or use at least a 125 Gallon Tank, but in your case I would use a 180 :naughty: :naughty: :naughty: ......... In addition by using a berlin style set up you have room to put monsters in the sump for emergency purposes. Anyways, enough w/my babbling. I canb go on and one :grinyes: ...... awsome pick up and let me know if you have any questions.
