Monster Energy Corporation vs. MonsterFishKeepers.com

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
And on a similar note, I sent a message to Ken Blocks facebook page to make sure he is aware of the bs behaviour of his principle sponsor. I said something along the lines of "I'm not sure if you would/could/can put any pressure on them as it isn't doing their brand any favours, or if you even give a s--t, but I thought I would bring it to your attention anyway".

Maybe we should bring it to the attention of those who endorse it and/or are sponsored by it...

Thats a pretty good idea!!!

David R - I have already sent one letter to McDonald's, but the more they get the more likely they'll at least take notice. I have also posted to local news services, River Monsters' Facebook page, and posted to both Monster Energy's Facebook page and their official Monster Energy Fishing Team's Facebook page in addition to signing the petition at Change.org :naughty:

MonsterFishKeepers and MonsterM are trademarked on October 23, 2007 in Class 38, which is for on-line community forum.
We were expanding our trademarks into class 25, which is for apparel such as T-shirts. which is currently pending..

Li, thanks, I follow now.

You guys are Great.. what awesome ideas and response from you all..... what a brotherhood/sisterhood we have acheived here... i do not think there is another forum on the net that has this ability to unite in such a gallant effort... No words will make and no deeds will end the comradeship we built here as friends .......!!

Monster Energy Corporation has been criticized for its policy to sue companies or groups which use the word "Monster" or the letter "M" in their marketing for copyright infringement. Examples include the aquarium hobbyist site Monster Fishkeepers [10], a beverage review site which published an unfavorable review of the Monster Energy drink [11] and a Vermont microbrewery which marketed a beer named "Vermonster". Monster Energy Corporation dropped the lawsuit against the microbrewery due to the negative publicity the lawsuit generated [12].

this is what i thought was intresting. need to get this on the news about them

and a Vermont microbrewery which marketed a beer named "Vermonster". Monster Energy Corporation dropped the lawsuit against the microbrewery due to the negative publicity the lawsuit generated [12].

I think that is bogus. Just cause the word monster and the "m" logo. The logos look nothing alike and the company and web site names are different. So to sue over the word monster is bs. There thousands of companies with similar names but you domt here them suing each other.
