Sure they can be housed together.........just not in that size tank. (unless you were willing to trade them out later like discussed earlier.) I just think you should take your time, keep researching, and I bet you can find fish that you will thoroughly enjoy that can live in there for life rather than trading out your fish later. I have to get rid of my school of redhooks just becuase my tank has become to small. Trust me it sucks when the time comes to dump off the fish you have had for a while, at least IME.

yeah i understand. ur probably right wingate...

i'm just stuck on getting a RTGG, i want it to bad haha

i'll have to think about it though.

it I where me I'd def go with a couple of fronts and a couple of blue dolphins and a featherfin but where all different maybe a red devil, flowerhorn and a agressive maybe 12in or so cat not so sure if an agro cat could hang but there might be one out there

i was thinking about getting a shovelnose cat. they seem neat. anyone know about those?

I would stay away from the fish you listed. How bout Lima, couple cichlids, and a school of redhooks?

perruno catfish ,lima shovlenose ,pleco and a pair of oscars or jags ;)

Sometimes you can run into issues with plecos and catfish together, but I'm liking his idea of the Jaguar Cichlids.

African cichlids and some Synodontis catfish of some sort is another good idea that Lateraldisposition posted.
