  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
They are called toadfish but was sold to me as a freshwater lion fish!! I tried it in fresh but was covered in fungus in three days so I add salt and now is in almost total salt water!
just a side note I have started a salt water tank and now own 1 - 26 inch snowflake moray,1 - 18 inch spotted moray, 1 - 12 yellow head eel. But the true master is I picked up one of the true preds of the ocean I have now puchased a true:WHOA: Baracuda:WHOA:still very small but as fast as a bulit!!! fish beware!!!
thanks T.R

Nice monsters in that salt.

Just as a side note, watch out what you put with that toadfish. They eat like gluttons and many times you will wake up only to notice he is the only fish left in the tank. Many times eating fish that are bigger than their mouths.

I love it! I had three in my tank that I caught out of the bay. They're awesome fish. I actually had mine living in salty brackish water with goldfish, a pleco, and an apple snail. I just recently released them back into the ocean because I'm now deployed for 6mos and figured it'd be easier for my wife to take care of a FW tank.

Sorry for the crappy pics. They're from my cell as my kid broke my good camera. He also has a thing for dirtying up my glass as you can see in the 2nd pic.
