I asked our local game warden what was legal to collect and what permits were needed, so everything was legal with just my fishing license. Luckily we have some extremely fertile flats here in TX. Also, the oyster shells were all dead off parts of a periodically dry reef.

that's good to hear and I applaud you for taking the time to do so and respect our hobby and the wild species as well.

No new pics of the crabs yet. Still playing with the camera trying to get clear pictures. It's hard when you can't see the screen to tell if you are focused or not. Wife won't let me touch her professional digital cam.
