Yup, works in small streams for trout as well. Try overhung clay banks.

its called noodling. and its fun.

i dont feed them anything, theres tons of food in the pond for them.

but some times we'll catch a bunch of blue gill in the lake and throw them in the pond.

what do you use?

and your probably not gonna out there in EL Paso. Kansas and Oklahoma are spoiled rotten with huge cats. I love fishing up there. South/Central Texas has some pretty productive lakes to around Austin and San Antonio, if you feel like a drive, and we have our fairshare here in southeast texas. Then again we also have the Gulf of Mexico to fish in to down here. Its pretty rad when you chum up a huge school of Gafftop Sailcats, and they look flippin sweet. I've caught 30-40 in a few hrs before. granted there usually not as big as that !LUNKER! but at least we've got quanity! lol.

heres a 4.25 pounder a caught a couple weeks ago on dead scrimps.

Were hitting the piers in couple hrs actually. . .the seat trout are jumpin and the gafftops are swarming. . .yall wish me luck! :)
