His normal routine for getting in the boat was to throw his goodie bag and speargun in, then his weight belt, fins and tanks, and finally he'd get in. I was in the boat taking a cig break when all of a sudden, Ed was in the boat too. No goodie bag, no speargun and still wearing his weight belt, tanks and fins. He was near the boat with 3 speared fish in his bag when a hammerhead with a 5 foot hammer swam UNDER him...
That was the whitest I ever saw anybody.
