Mine has almost stopped growing after the 8" mark. What do you suggest is the best feed for jaguar ?

Cut tilapia,cut shrimp,night crawlers, freeze dried brine shrimp cubes and at the moment some fluval bug bites. I might try feeding crickets soon

Yup aware these cichlid's grow rapidly as well as Dovii's. Question for you would you say fire eel's are also fast growers?

I would Say they grow pretty fast you just need to be sure that it gets enough food, my eel is pretty picky

I feed mine a mixture of Hikari massivore, prawns, nightcrawlers from my worm farm, crickets, mealworms and hikari krill when I can get a hold of some. Every fish is different but it is quite possible for a jag to grow an inch a month for the first year. I have even seen these growth rates with a water temperature of 23C degrees as I keep my tanks on the lower range during winter for power saving purposes.
