In the pics it looks like his eyes are white. Is that from the flash or does he have eye problems? Also, I heard that Leichardti's are much more docile than Jardini's. Is this true?

His eyes are normal. It is just the flash doing it. Leichardti are generally calmer than jardini but I wouldn't go as far as calling them docile.

The new tank I plan on getting him isn't 600 though

I forget the actual dimensions but it should be big enough.
