Ok jumped the gun, measured it earlier it's 4" TL guess Wes was using TL and not SL but still not 4.5-5.5.

Never heard of fish stories?

total length and standard length, the latter excludes the caudal fin altogether

total length is formally measured to the caudal fork if there is one but my impression is people estimate anyway and don't bother with small details
