It looks like you've got a great setup for him. One thing to be aware of is that the more confident he gets in that tank, the more he might start spitting sand around. If any of it gets in the filter it could damage the impeller.

i see your sig and you got a small midas. the only thing i wish i could say is that i grew it up from young. hope yours turns out as nice. i never imagined myself owning one. i wasnt even sure what it was when i saw it, just knew that i wanted it bad! i didnt know much about midas, i actually had to get help on mfk cuz it was labeled differently. oh well, glad it all worked out!

Saw you had posted this a little while ago in the FH section...was hoping you had gotten him and would post more. He is pretty huge, hoping mine will look that like someday.
Actually, and no offense, I am kind of surprised the store had him labeled as a FH right?

Yea, the lfs first thought it was a midas, but then somehow they had shown pics of it to a local fh breeder and he had labeled it as a fh. this breeder was supposed to know his stuff. maybe something got mixed up, but luckily they were easy to work with and we got it all straightened out
 
Definitely a nice looking fish!
