Monster Molly

went to petco today and looked in the molly tank and saw something unusual
a 6 inch molly among 1 inch
lady said it came with the batch and was from the same mother as the others who were all normal
so i picked him up hes an absolute beast
is this a mutation or what?

I betcha "he" is a "she" though... in livebearers females are larger than males... there may be some exceptions but this holds true for most...

...and yes 6" is massive for a mollie... strange... definately worth having... I hope you breed her, and let us know how many babies she has at a time...

okay hes 4.5 inches i just measured him so 6 was exaggerated
still definitely a monster molly

The red fish near it are adult swordtails
