anyone else find that the massivore is extremely bad smelling? if i throw some in my tank my whole room stinks for the rest of the day. even opening the bag leaves a lingering odor. maybe i just got a couple bad bags. my fish love it but i cant stand the smell.

I'll chime in for kensfish too. I made my first order and now I have a 1 stop place for fish food.

It's a great place and shipping was fast and I love when you order bulk it still comes in .5lb. vacuum sealed bags so what you don't have to open can get put away and it will last forever. I'm sticking like 12 bags in the freezer tonight b/c I only needed 8 bags to fill my "food bucket" lol

i second that. the 7.5mm pellets are big enuff for my 20" pacu, so i would imagine the 9.5mm are even bigger. you cant beat the price with a stick if you tried either, and the ingredients are right on par with other good brands of food as stated already

To be honest, if you're going to feed a pacu, commercial fish food for farmed fish might be a better option. 50 lb bag for under $25. Decent nutrition content since it's used to raise food fish. Negative is that it doesn't have color enhancers, but that might not matter as much with a pacu.

thought of that, but i have other fish in the tank that eat the 7.5mm also which would benefit from the added enhancers and what not.

I like to mix 1/2 Hikari Gold and 1/2 Hikari Excel so that they get a mix of nutrition.
I may have to try Ken's out.
