Thanks for all te great positive comments. Nice to see ot evere is a haer. For those who just want to see lights in my tank(which I DO have, by the way) you are welcome to go to the video lounge to see tank with lights on. However, I will post some pics with lights soon. I would also like to tell you that not only is there 3 FX5 Canister Filters, but I also have 3 Marineland Emporer 400 hangover filters as well. The Cnister filters are for Biological filtration and the Marineland are for Chem and Bio Filtration. So to answer you question/comment. I LOVE MY PIRANHA. I CAN afford to spoil them. The question is CAN YOU?
 
Oh another thing Piranhas are not fond of light. Do YOUR research. My piranha have not spawned as of yet. They are only 7 months old. GREAT FILTRATION equals GREAT GROWTH.

I'm not so sure about your light theory...I've had schools of 20+ piranha over the years, and they didn't have any problems with bright lights, at least no more than any other characin.

Anyways, I'm not here to debate with you. I just happen to like my tanks well lit...big power compacts do the job for me.

Regarding all the filtration, it seems like a bit of overkill...but your utility company must love you!

Not to be funny but, there seems to big alot of comments about my electricity bill. I would like to say that just as I was willing to spend the money on the filtration. I was willing to spend a few hundred dollars on a plug that helps distribute power. I have only seen a $5 dollar increase in my bill. I think I will live and the Electric Co. is not getting rich off me. SORRY. I love my hobby, but I have a family, too. Can't go in the poorhouse over a hobby.
