Color is probably the worst thing to go by.
Doing a search I could not find anything but very dark examples of the species you listed.
I’m thinking if it is acanthicus so. Or Adonis it’s albino or some other color mutations

On a side note the guy in the video says it’s the ugliest creatures ever seen.

The...things on the side of it's head are the part that's really unusual. No other fish I know has those.

Fish farms snap them off for store sales.. so whenbyou get a pleco from a fish store they are already snapped off.
