dialphantom: If you got a buck for every organism (plant/animal - fossil record to present) with the species name 'histrix' you'd be a rich man. Just off the top of my head, fish-wise, there is:

Diodon histrix - Porcupine fish
Potamotrygon histrix - Histrix stingray
Hippocampus histrix - Thorny seahorse
and, of course, the monster pleco posted above.

Not quite a monster, but big for a loricaridae!

sweet monster plecos everyone. Id let other people have plecos like that. I couldnt imagine the poop those plecs will produce. If i had a pond then that would be a diff story.
