Can anyone tell me what pleco's grow the biggest. I have seen on some sites that some grow up to 15" to 17", but is that the largest they get. Which pleco's are true monsters? Thanks.

not sure what kind of plecos these are... but they're huge lol. also Datnoid 101 has a 17"+ watermelon pleco:thumbsup:

Pictures above are A.adonis, also LDA65 panaque sp. gets really huge.
Ditto.:iagree:

Here in the midwest they are known as "Highfin" plecos. I hear they can get to be over 3 feet long if fed correctly and given enough room to grow. My uncle had one in his koi pond that after 3 years cleared over 19".

You certainly wouldn't want them though. Apparently, these are one of the most aggressive plecos so it certainly wouldn't be advisable to mix them with other bottom dwellers.
