Ram, it's great so far. keep up with your good work. Until you complete with your pond, please don't quit like a few other posters here. Pond-building is long, sweaty & costly work, but it's all worth it when you're done.


Your photos bring back sweet memories of hard labors 'N joy for me (see photos below). I too had constructed a pond from April thru August 2009. Ram, I'm NOT trying to hijack your thread, but to provide incentives and encouragements for you to build your dream.

It's going to have EPDM liner 1.1mm, as for the bolts I have counter sunk the nuts using a spade bit but will also add some styrofoam sheeting for insulation.
I have the capping just sitting on the frame and will attach it when then liner arrives.

Nice! How deep is it? Also, I assume its warm around this time of the year where you are. Do you plan to insulate it?

The pond is 3mx3.6mx1m and yes I am going to insulate it with styrofoam sheeting.
