Here is my completed backyard pond, it is 12'x10'x3.1'.
The pond was constructed using 50mm hard wood sleepers and lined with firestone liner. Filtration is a Laguna 12000 powered by a Laguna 7000 pump.
I originally constructed it for my Gator gar but unfortunately it did not make it to the pond.
Now I have one freshwater Cod and 30-40 White clouds and striped Danios which are breeding.
I hope the new water Lillies and Salvinia will grow and cover most of the pond which should help the water clear up also.

Part of your clarity problem is that it looks like the pond sits in full sun all day. Is that correct? If so, you're getting a lot of algae bloom. If you can build a partial cover, or add more plants to shade the pond (and eat up nutrients), then the water should start to clear up. You could also try adding a UV sterilizer, if your filter doesn't already contain one.

Nice looking pond otherwise, I like it.
