monster Raphael catfish?

so then would someone recomend this fish for my grow out tank for my cichlids or what?
the one im lookin at is a little guy
 
I think if the cichlid's are over 3" or 4" and it's a smaller dora like the spotted or striped it would be ok but no dwarf cichlid's.But this is only my opinion im no expert.
 
In my experience, I think a striped raphael would work great with most cichlids. They have the body armor to deal with the tough guys, but they are peaceful aquarium residents, so they should work well with smaller cichlids. Keep in mind it takes many, many years for them to get any bigger than 6 inches. For the most part, they hide during the day and come out at night.
 
Must be old. I heard they are slow growers.

now that is one impressive talking catfish, and have you any idea how old it ? it must be years an years an years old to be that size

mine is so nervous it got heater burn just to avoid being seen
strange fish, its healing up slowly
