This is a 12~13ft (roughly) rare sawfish in a public aquarium of Taiwan, it's the same aquarium that keeps 20+ big arapaimas (I posted few days ago). It's unique with its long spiky nose (saw like), the sawfish uses it as its weapon by swinging it violently. Wait till you see the video taken by neoprodigy you'll see.

Another shot I took a month later (they saved a dolphin from the beach, and put it in the same tank with divider between them)

Sorry for the poor quality this run, especially for the 2nd shot. The flash inhibited around that tank for the 2nd trip (the dolphin was not stable yet.

videos are coming :) how they divide the tank?

They have those at the mall of america aquarium.

The aquarium in launge beach has a sawfish too. Not sure how big it was but i did see it looign for food. Its really cool how it stabs the sand lookign for food. If any1 want to see one in person go to the long beach aquarium. its in So Cal

That tank is probably over 30X70 ft, still looks a bit small for it.

Sweet. How big is that tank with all the pima and this sawfish?

The arapaima and sawfish are in different tanks ... this is especially important as that sawfish is a saltwater species ;)
