I think having a tiger barb only monster tank is a very cool idea.

I think he meant tinfoils, tiger barbs (Puntius tetrazona, pic by Antonutti) max out at 3". I think 50-60 adult would work ina a planted 125 with maybe 12 each bandit and pygmy cories.

Do you guys get green tiger barbs in the States? I think it would be cool to throw some of them in the mix. They behave exactly like tiger barbs, except they look like this...

I'm thinking of doing the same in my 3' planted tank, but on a smaller scale cos there are a lot of other fish in there. I just need to find some green ones that are the same size as my current tiger barbs. The last 2 greens that I had died when I moved house

Tiger barbs can get 12+ " if you have 75 of those you better be doing 50% water changes twice a day lmao...

20 is fine along with some outher types of catfish or something.

i think you might be mistaken if they got that big i would have a school of 10 in my 268gal

tiger barbs won't work your plants in a planted tank? i'm currently trying to decide what fish for my planted 75 and this sounds interesting. i love tiger barbs!

Sounds like a cool idea Id keep it to 40 barbs.I like the clown loach idea over the cories similar color and stripes like a "theme" tank,they get to be monsters though
