highly doubt that, sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen, and i doubt they would want that. I'm guessing you just dislike them.

No I love those guys it's all the bullcrap paper that customers sign when they go on the tv show and know and sign so they won't get sued... I don't dislike anyone I really don't care I'm just saying what I know that was told to me and I been to the warehouse and they told me the stories...

I think all you guys are mistaken..... You have to know most of the tanks they build for the show are props, and nothing more. Most tanks are broken down after filming..... Of corse there are some real customers who agreed to be film while they have their tank build by ATM..... You must understand, most fish will die if you just drop them into an uncycle tank...... Especially saltwater fish. All of it was just a TV show.

I was lucky enough to get a tour of ATM when I was in Vegas last week, met Bret and Wayde, very nice guys. If anyone ever pay them a visit, you will see 80% of the tanks they build for the TV show, are still in their warehouse, empty and broken down.

Here are some pics I took when I was visiting. They will be at Reefaplooza show next week in Coasta Mesa....

Maybe some are for the show but some are not. Rocket Fizz in Camarillo still has their tank. Used car salesman are nice too when you chat with them. That wave tank now for sale in Simi looks to have way undersized filtration. One of the first shows they did was the Mobster museum tank and I saw that tank at the Tropicana before the show debuted. One of the tanks they made and maintain is located in the casino (Silver something?) that is connceted to the Bass Pro Shops just off the 15 fwy.

I would imagine they sell what they can and if it fits with a TV production schedule great, if not they do one for the show and practically for free for the PR for the business as well as to show off their capabilities for obtaining more business. You can't stay in business by just building tanks that you end up keeping. There was one show where it was a close relative of one of the guys and she owned a nail salon and they made a major tank that looked like a giant nail polish bottle. I am sure she did not pay for that tank otherwise she'd be doing a lot of manicures to pay for it. Out of curiousity I'd check out their shop too if in the area and I am sure they are nice guys but I would never have them make a tank for me. You're preaching to the choir on this site explaining a tank should be cycled properly instead of using that expensive cycled sand, live rock and aged water and instatnly dumping in fish.

On a recent visti to Vegas I visited the Pawn Stars shop and many of the items you see on the show are for sale in the shop. Some things are marked "not for sale" until a certain date allowing the show to air first. They also clear out everyone in the store for filming. Everyone in the store even in the background browsing are actors. This is not to say all the items are fake nor is every person on the show an actor since some may sign something to appear. Many realty shows are scripted just like the Kardashian show just finsihed shooting the Christmas episode. Mystery Diners on the Food Channel is completely fabricated, but people watch anyway and industry insiders thought the show would flop but it got renewed.

I think Brett and Wade are cool guys! I am sure there are many stories of amazing tanks they built still up and running. I was thinking that the guys can't be expected to maintain the tanks they build. Could it be that people might get in over there head while being filmed on TV for there massive tank. When the guys leave most people we see getting these tanks are not MFK'ers of course and must pay big money to maintain there tanks. That commitment must be met by them or they will run into massive issues with crashed tanks.

Wonder what happen. Company the tank was at go out of business..

Sometimes they sell them when they can
Or they offer it to the company that made the tank and set it up
Next to nothing
Or even if a business goes out of business and they owe the bank money
The bank will sell the things that they have to try to get most of there money back...
