Monster Stingray Caught in Thailand

The Fishsiam team is engaged in a research program concerning Giant freshwater stingray in Thai Rivers.
The project has official approval from the Dept of Fisheries in Thailand and is in conjunction with the Megafish project and Dr.Zeb Hogan.
The second picture in this thread was caught by subsistence fishermen in Cambodia(not on rod and line).
We have now caught 84 differnet Giant freshwater stingray from both the Ban Pakong and Maeklong Rivers in Thailand.
We have recently recaptured and released the monster freshwater stingray caught by Ian Welch at an estimated 250kg's+.
