they are nice fish i have seen them at london zoo and for sale in 1 LFS ever

in the UK we call them misassipi paddle fish (spelt so bad but its part of the US )

im very envious! like T1 said they are like rocking horse **** in the uk..... and for me to own one i have to find two, cos i promised the guy i got my bowfin from if i find one il grab it for him... dumb things i say..... but i wont break a promise.... maybe one day...

I see them when I go scuba diving around here. Biggest I have seen was about 3.5'. Still an awesome sight though.

its definately a mississippi paddlefish. Are you keeping it in colder water? You should get a tiger muskie or some other cold water preds in there. That would be so cool with a tiger muskie or something.

There would have been a few brought in over the last 12 months or so mainly via Czech Republic.
