Since the fish got beaten I would use salt and water changes. I'm not a believer of medications unless it's ick or something severe where the fish needs it or it'll die.
Update on my fish he's healing rapidly. Salt every few hours directly on his kok and going to do another big water change tomorrow. Fed him some shrimp and he gulped it fast so now I know he's healthy and no infection.
