I'm not a fisherman (or rather fisherwoman), so I have to ask. They way they are holding them, I would assume that guy is dead, or they would be causing a lot of damage to the gills right?
no. that fish is still alive unless they killed it. You have to hold alot of bigger fish that way. Just make sure you dont put your hand in to far or chomp chomp
They shold put that picture next to any TSN tanks at LFs to remind people that it is not appropriate to put these fish in 10 gallon tanks.

they should be supporting the inturnal organs...to hold a monster fish correctly...but the gill plates are very strong and that fish could still live depending how long it was out of the water and in that position...i hope my three get that big...i would make feeding them easy for me...i can't wait till i can catch a 5lb lmb as a feeder fish...i wonder how people would react when i tell them my plan for the caught bass...
