Monster watches !

I got a couple rolex's I'll get some pics up asap in the process of moving. I got a story for you though. I used to work for a jewelry repair place and was going through his old watches one day. I happened upon a longines wrist watch. Well it wasn't running but I knew my dad was/is a big watch collector so I got it for him for 50.00 bucks. Gave it to my dad and he took it to his jewelry guy and got it running. Well a few yrs later my dad went on business to Europe and was looking at watches there and the guy at the watch store gave my dad 8500.00 for that watch. Come to find out is was a watch that was made only for america and it was in limited print. It is very sought after in Europe and the guy who bought it was as giddy as a school girl. I'll check around and see if I can find a pic of this watch.
Thats a daytona.. even if you have the money to buy , theres still a waiting list for it.

This one was my very first watch ever! I still remember it well. It was blue and my friend Winston broke it and made me cry
LOL I had that too .. In blue too ! The lock broke one day and the robot fell off... i thought i was gonna faint ! Welcome back !!
