I do "the tanks" once a fortnight and give them a bit of a trim and a water change (although I am going to do the Discus tank weekly from now on). Other than that I clean the filters as they need it and feed the lil darlin's as often as I can.

beautiful tanks i love your aquascaping what is the list of plants you have in your tanks? what kind of lights do you use/watts? substraight/fertalizers? sorry for so many questions i wanna do my tanks kinda like that

Nic,

all sorts of plants, though mainly Crypts and Swords with a bit of Wisteria and Blue Temple and some Val. There are a couple of Red Lotus and one Green Lotus for a splash of colour.

I currently run normal fluro's plus double CF's on each tank.

The substrate is just plain old washed gravel (1/8") and I fertilise with Flourish when I remember. I make sure I have Malaysian Livebearing Snails in each tank to act like worms and carry waste into the gravel.

I don't believe in all the complicated BS that people go on with (where is the CO2 injection in nature?) go by the KISS principle.

LOL I SWEAR, no need for co2 if you feed and waterchange right and is that an adonis pleco in your tank?

Well done! i tried the planted tank in my 240 but didnt work out as well as i hoped, but your tanks inspire me to give it another try
