you can also go on the mississippi and drop your line (heavy line) near the dams and catch giant cats like that all day long, well you'll be reeling all day long for that one. I caught a 65lb channel cat, and took 4 1/2 hrs to bring it in, I've seen bigger. Could only imagine what he went through.

i dought that you caught A 65LB CHANNEL 'cause the world record for a chennel is only 58 lbs. prolly a blue.

and that flathead looks alot bigger than 80lbs, cause i caught an 83lber on the coosa river in AL. and it doesnt seem like it was that big,.
 
love flatheads, in N. Dakota the oldtimers would brag about the 8" or 10" flatheads they caught. It doesn't sound impressive until you realize that they measure them between the eyes!
