The Dallas trip was disappointing. I drove three hours to get there. I was there from 10:00 until 13:00. I was the only person who showed up and I was stuck with all of the special order items. The store was absolutely lovely and the staff was knowledgable and very accommodating. They had cleaned out their breakroom just so we would have a place to meet. I had a local catering company bring some light snacks and a cake, which I enjoyed with the staff. I was incredibly embarassed.

I am sure that all of those who had R.S.V.P.'d that they would be in attendance, and then did not show up, had good reasons from their own perspective for not attending the event, but from my perpective it is difficult to see those reasons as being more valid than the effort that I put in to organizing it.
 
You still get my respect for taking the time out to organize this. If you ever head out
to the east, let me know and well organize a trip here to meet the east coast members. We do come out here :)
