Sorry Mods if this is the wrong section for this thread.

It would seem most common fishkeepers are absolutely against Japanese style monsterfishkeeping.

Just take a glance at the comments posted on my monsterfishtank!

Some of the recent posted comments:

"you don't need a bigger tank, you need fewer fishes. those beautiful fishes don't deserver to stay in your ****ty tank. retard."

"I read your backed comments. You have a 1000L tank. That is 264 gals. I personally would only have 200" of fish in that tank. You said you've had the tank like this for 2 years. I have to be impressed with your abilities for water changes and filtration. You have them all surviving, good job but would you just want to survive?"

" You are an idiot. Like to see you having to survive in a tiny room. I think you're cruel."

Comments?

Jealousy.
Also, ignorance. I see a lot of people mentioning the fish per gallon rule which we all know is BS. I would challenge any one of them to keep rays as healthy as yours.

They do not understand...so don't take it personally.

Like always bro...you have an outstanding tank with some of the nicest quality fish I have seen.

Your datnoids are absolutely stunning.

Marshy like Steve already said do not take it personally. In my opinion you have one of the nicest tanks around. It is very obvious all your fish are extremely healthy and very well cared for. Anyone who would argue that is not ready for the next level.

:iagree:

Climbing Mt. Everest is not for everyone either but it can be done.

Congratulations! those folks may only dream what you have achieved. Their knowledge base is only good for the inexperienced fishkeepers and very narrow minded. It's meant to improve the chances for success for someone just beginning.

I don't think they are the only ones that dream when they see that tank :D

Gosh... I think it'll be a real slugfest between us MonsterFishkeepers and them if we'd to have a debate on this!

I agree because they refuse to think outside of the 10g box.

Really I think it looks good.

Not to detract from the tank or if you were trying to acheive the jap monsterfish look. But IMO that's not even close to Jap style fishkeeping.. If it were you'd have a ton more fish's in there.
