everytime one of these fishkeepers criticizes monsterfishkeeping, it is the equivalent of a little leaguer criticizing a major league all star

what does that mean , so you think that most coments are teenage boys and iam a teenage and i love that tank , hope to have one , one day and some teenage will have experince and some will , it just how the hobby goes if you have space or not and it does not mean if you don't experince with that fish it does not mean you know nothing about that fish liike min tank size ......, like me i know stuff about arowana , stingray ,catfish .........
it all about research and experince.

I think it's the teenage boys who will love this tank the most.

People aren't criticizing monsterfishkeeping, they're criticizing mfking in too small a tank.

Personally I think the tank looks amazing but then I start thinking of the fish who have to be jam packed in there 24/7 365 days a year. :( And they're not done growing yet. I agree with whoever said the tank is to please the owner and doesn't take the best interest of the fish into account.

On the other hand, it could be worse. Obviously your keeping up with water conditions and they're def being fed well.

Bottom line, I think they could use a bigger tank to have more personal space.

I'm on the fence about it. On the one hand I know how much time, effort and skill goes into maintaining that setup. You deserve credit for that. But on the other hand I have to think that there is a degree of stress in living in such cramped quarters with so many other large (non-schooling fish).

I think a good question to consider is, are you satisfying the fishes need for adequate space to swim freely, or are you satisfying your own desire to collect as many exotic species as you are able to fit in your tank? You are obviously satisfying their dietary needs and the need for excellent water quality, but I think you might not be providing them with adequate space. "Adequate" space is obviously a subjective term. You have some awesome trophies in your display case, but your trophies are living creatures that probably deserve more freedom to swim around without bumping into their tankmates.

I think it's safe to say that for a lot of us (myself included) this fish keeping business is like crack. Sometimes we need to take a step back and think about what's best for the fish and not feed the desire to hoard them to the point that one missed water change or a power outage will result in an ammonia spike that will leave them all dead.

Full disclosure: in my 6'X3'x2' 270G, I have a Silver Aro, Tiger oscar, 5 Red Hook Silver Dollars, 4 Bala Sharks, 8 Clown Loaches and a Pink Tail Chalceus. I think I am overstocked but I admit that I have recently been thinking about adding more Clown Loaches. Hi, my name is Alex and I am addicted to the thrill of new additions to my tank.

I used to use youtube. I misused it to flame a classmate. But Ive been in flamewars. Most ppl go on youtube when theyre wasted, and those even offended ME reading them, but just ignore it.

nobody knows what they are saying on youtube
ppl on youtube piss me off so much
your tank looks amazing!
but they could use a bit more space to swim a bit more
but the tank is baisically perfect

regardless of the fact that you certainly are a talented fishkeeper or not I happen to think it a bit irresponsible to let nitrates go that high. for that reason i don't think any tank should be stocked that heavy
personally i don't let mine get over 20ppm and usually below 10ppm

if i were to do that on any of my tanks that would mean i did not do a water change for several weeks probably a month or more.

i am amazed at the quality of the fish and clarity of the water, however I am concerned that the fish don't have enough room. its great you have such great quality fish and rays but seriously.
His water quality is probably still better than yours.

24/7 drip or auto w/c, heard of it?
