Can you elaborate on the size of exadons that I'm not aware of? Or are you talking about his original fish he mentioned?

i read that the pickerel got 12" max but should only get 8" and they are fine in a 40gl. why would none of these fish work

i wouldnt put a pickerel of any sort in a 55, let alone a 40. if the fish CAN reach 12", then it SHOULD reach 12". wouldnt want a 12" missile living in your 55...

i really like the pickerel this is the type of fish i have been look big mean fast and eats fish. i really want one if i get one it wont bet for like a month so i will research them till then. and if i don't think its a good fish i wont do it but i really want one.

how many could i do or what could i put with it
i know the temp ph and everything for them.
they like lots of plants right

obviously 1, seeing as its nor suitable for the 55 in the first place.

yeah.

^..

It's actually spelled exodon, as in Exodon paradoxus, in case you were trying to google them and having no luck. They are really cool little fish, pretty much need to be kept species only. I will probably keep a tank of them some day.

I also suggest Exodons, they're a great choice for smaller aquaria.

aka bucktooth tetra.
awesome to watch a school of them eat!

i really would decide against having the pickerel...because of the size of your tank.
since you get your jollies off of watching fish eat other fish, there are many other fish that eat other fish....that can fit in a 55.

please reconsider your stock list.
