My RTC that I got in Sept at around 3".

These pics were taken in Feb...

He is now the largest fish in the tank. The Black Aro might be longer but the RTC is way bigger. He has to be pushing 20"+ as the tank is 25" tall and his tail is almost tot he bottom when he is begging for food.... He will be going into the 1100 gallon pond/pool in my garage as soon as I can catch everything in it that I do not want to become food...

Don't own a RTC, but I came across a LFS today that had a amazing RTC for sale for $250. I don't know if that is a good price or not, but I just thought I should share it. It's about 18-20", and looks really healthy. If anyone in NYC is interested in the location just ask.

thats way to much for that RTC. hes got a domed skull and no ones gonna pay 250 bucks for a 20 inch cat. unless maybe it was a tig.

hello, 15 days ago we (Associació Aquariófila de Barcelona) go to a science museum called Cosmocaixa. In that place they have a biggest paludarium (1000 m2) with big, big, Arapaima gigas, Osteoglossum, a lot of big plecos,cichlids and pacu's and, of course a pair of RTC, if you go to Barcelona, spain you must go to there. The ticket entrance its very cheap. And a photo of one of the RTC's, was spectacular to see it trough the water with the sun on their back, so beauty. The photo's not mine it's from Marcos Flores, a friend from the AAB, hope you like it:
