Al right yall. My 90 gallon is in month 4...I have maintained good water quality, (2) clowns, (1) Royal Gramma, (1) green serpent star, and a heck of a cleaning crew. I even have a little rock with mushrooms!!!! So I want opinions on a good hardy fish, I think I am ready.

Thanks for opinions!

Anthias I would get a trio they are very fun but you have to feed them frozen food (mysis brine) hey are meat eaters.
A watchman goby
Lawnmower blenny
A yellow tang (they get big but are one of the smaller tangs.)

I would catch that royal gramma out if you can..
They can become VERY MEAN to other fish..

Really??? It gets along with the clowns.... bummer, it's a very pretty fish. I have tried 2 Sailfin tangs before and they both died of ich. Are Yellow tangs as sickly? I have considered the lawnmower blenny, I think they are cool.

just make sure with a yellow tang you get one that is FAT and doesn't have a pinched stomach ..
Look at he top half of the fish and make sure you can't see any indentations..
Also tangs need lots of nori.. they love sheets of algae to feed on..
your royal may be one of the nice ones..
As for teh lawnmower as long as you have some algae on your rocks you should be good.

just take your time to research and think about what issues may come down the road or future fish you may want to add nothing wrong with waiting another month or 2 so you can draw up a list of tankmates and get incite on the list and research it as well.

Yes I would find the one big fish you want then build down from there.
Make sure if your gonna get a fish it fits in yuor final display plan , ie: corals crabs, shrimp, most angels nip and psodochromis are super mean.
