It has been a wonderful experience still.
His/her personality is the most wonderful thing to come home to after work!
My diatom “algae” has died down a lot. I only have the tank lights on for about 5 hours a day, the past two-three weeks because of 12 hour shifts at the factory. Prior I had the lights on a timer for being on about 7 hours.
However this Wednesday I noticed he is starting to feast on my Pogostemon stellatus (octopus plant) is this a normal behavior?
I’m still feeding him to get full. But it seems just before I go to bed about two hours or so after feeding him(a snail or two depending on size and some bloodworms) then he starts chewing on the palnt and eating it. Probably while I’m at work as well.
I appreciate this forum and everyone’s input!

Fahakas can be quite avid gardeners ime, my old girl used to always trim any anubias leaves she thought was in her way...

Now i dont know if she ever at any part of the plant but she definitely liked trimming leaves off the mother plant...
