alright so i got my 2 cathode lights and one inverter i got the wires spliced and everything, but.....my 55 gallon hood is split into 2 parts (2 x 24" hoods). any ideas on how i could get both cathode lights plugged into the inverter without the inverter sitting out in the open prone to getting wet? and if the only way is to have the inverter in the open any ideas on how i could cover it and keep it dry? dont wanna end up zapping myself to death :D

Thanks in advance,

Xyl

run enough wire to one set of lights, then run a long enough splice to the other light, somewhere thats easily accessible so if you have to remove a light for any reason you can just unhook it from the other light and still have at least one working...thats what i did and it works great...

Also ive cut off the switch and spliced the red and black connector with the AC/DC plug.

Everything lights up and works. Im just not sure where to position this blue thing due to fear of getting zapped if it gets wet.

Thanks for all your help so far stingraybob :D
