Yeah.I read somewhere that there was talk of changing the law so others could sell liquor....with the applied for and required license.

Yeah.I read somewhere that there was talk of changing the law so others could sell liquor....with the applied for and required license.
That's how north Carolina is, across the street from every liquor store is a gas station so that people can get beer or wine. Lots of states have stupid laws about alcohol, here we can't buy on Sundays but the bars are open. Our gov says there would be more drunk drivers if we could buy on Sunday even though anyone with half a brain realizes you drive drunk drinking in bars and not on your own couch, but then again if you can't buy extra beer on Saturday you probably need to get your act together and don't need to be drinking on Sundays.
Haha, my old man recently got hooked on Apple Pie Moonshine. Couple sips like hot soup off a spoon and your ear lobes start to warm up.
