so I got 5x datnoid babies recently, can I get 6x more and so I waill have 11x in a 60 growout? the thing is can I put the dats in the 60g for... 3 years? maybe 4? standard 60g, 36'' x 18" x 22", L x W x H, also these things r like penny size. really want more but dont know if the tank space is good enough
more datnoids maybe?

IME a 1" dat can get up to 6" in a year with good water conditions and a good appetite. i doubt a 60g can hold them for 3-4 yrs. in 3-4 yrs they're gonna be monsters about the size of a football or bigger. in any case it wont be a problem to put 11 1" dats in your 60 for now but your probably gonna need the 170 for just the dats down the line.

i have 8 baby indos in a 100g grow out and in 3 to 4 years i could probably have 3 in there(at the most) so no you can not have all 11 in a 60g in 3 or 4 years from now.

You should be ok for a while but obviously your going to need an upgrade for the ones you have so why not get the others.

I got my 9" IT last august and he mostly eats massivore and hes over 12" now search my threads and have a look.
Imo you will need ALOT bigger tank than a 175 for 11 full grown but obviously you have to get them to that size but i would not put 10 more in my tank at the same size as mine is now never mind 18",oh and they do get bigger than that.there is a picture on the dat lounge of a 2ft+ one have a look.
